908 Displaced People Reached Across Lebanon

In May 2026, the Israeli war on Lebanon displaced thousands of families across Lebanon, many of them sheltering in host communities, faith-based shelters, and tents, beyond the reach of mainstream aid. Through our Emergency Relief for Displaced Families project, funded by the Stirling Foundation, Loubnaniyoun delivered tailored, needs-based assistance to 908 displaced people. We supported families displaced from South Lebanon (Bint Jbeil, Sour, Alma al Chaab, Debel, Ein Ebel) and Beirut’s southern suburb.

What we delivered:

  • 184 food boxes and 184 hygiene kits across three shelters: the Orthodox Patriarchate – Our Lady of Monastery (Harissa), the Catholic Patriarchate (Rabweh), and Moucharaka wa Mahabba
  • 200 bedding items (mattresses, pillows, blankets) and 200 gallons of water to 200 individuals living in tents on Azariye Street and Downtown Beirut
  • Food boxes and hygiene kits to 361 displaced people at a central distribution point in Dekwaneh
  • 74 units of milk and 89 packs of diapers to families with infants

Throughout, we maintained signed beneficiary records and coordinated with the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA).
