Youth Tech & Automation Skills
Funded by LDS Charities
Loubnaniyoun launched the Youth Tech & Automation Skills project in July 2026, with the support of LDS Charities. Under the project we set up fully equipped computer labs in six schools across Lebanon. In total, the six labs have 120 desktop computers, interactive boards and UPS units. The schools also received 120 robotics and coding kits, and one IT teacher from each school was trained to teach robotics. About 2,600 students now have access to hands-on digital and STEM learning.
The new labs serve St. Anne School in Riyak, Collège Saint Georges Syriaque Orthodoxe in Zahle, École des Sœurs du Saint-Cœur in Mouallaka, Collège des Sœurs du Rosaire in Burj Hammoud, Our Lady of Deliverance School in Ghosta and Haret Sakher Public School in Keserwan. Each of these schools is celebrating its new lab with an opening ceremony, bringing together students, teachers and the community.
Through our Pencil of Promise initiative, the project also gave school stationery to 2,075 students, which eased back-to-school costs for families. The stationery went to Father Robert’s Institute for students with disabilities in Sehayle, Collège Saint Pierre Frères in Baskinta, Saint Savior School in Jeita and Collège des Jeunes Filles du Liban in Beit Hebbak, Jbeil.
