شاركت جمعية لبنانيون بالتعاون مع نادي روتاراكت زحلة كابيتول بتنظيم مؤتمر ومعرض جامعي ضخم في فندق “قادري الكبير”- زحلة، جمع طلاب المدارس من زحلة والبقاع بممثلين عن أبرز الجامعات اللبنانية والدولية.

وشهد المؤتمر حضوراً واسعاً من طلاب المدارس في زحلة والبقاع، الذين تفاعلوا مع ممثلي الجامعات للتعرّف على الاختصاصات وفرص المنح والدراسة في لبنان والخارج، في أجواء من الحماس والانفتاح الأكاديمي.

برزت خلال الافتتاح كلمة رئيسة جمعية “لبنانيون” السيدة نادين ضاهر التي شددت على أهمية التعاون بين المجتمع المدني والمؤسسات التعليمية لدعم مسار الشباب الأكاديمي، مؤكدة أنّ “جمعية لبنانيون تؤمن بأنّ التعليم هو الركيزة الأولى لبناء وطنٍ مزدهر، وأنّ الاستثمار الحقيقي هو في الإنسان القادر على التغيير والمبادرة”.

كما ألقت رئيسة نادي روتاراكت زحلة كابيتول ربيكا الهندي كلمة نوّهت فيها بالدور الحيوي الذي لعبته جمعية “لبنانيون” في إنجاح الحدث، مشيرةً إلى أهمية هذه المبادرات في مساعدة الطلاب على تحديد خياراتهم المستقبلية. من جهته، أكّد رئيس لجنة العائلة في المنطقة الروتارية 2452 طوني أبونعوم على دور الروتاري في دعم التعليم وبناء جسور التواصل بين المدارس والجامعات.

كذلك، ألقت عضو مجلس بلدية زحلة معلقة وتعنايل ديما أبودية كلمة أعربت فيها عن دعم البلدية لكل نشاط تربوي يهدف إلى تمكين الأجيال الصاعدة. وتحدثت الآنسة سيلين عثمان ممثلةً عن Erasmus+ عن البرامج التبادلية والمنح الأوروبية للطلاب اللبنانيين، فيما شدد السيد حسن أبو خضر ممثل وكالة HAK على أهمية ربط الطلاب بسوق العمل، والسيد براين يوسف ممثل شركة Edubolt على دور التكنولوجيا في تطوير التعليم.

حظي المؤتمر بدعم عدد من الشركاء والرعاة، من أبرزهم جمعية “لبنانيون”، بلدية زحلة – معلقة وتعنايل، شركة Edubolt، Erasmus+، Institut Français، وRotaract Tripoli كشركاء أساسيين، إلى جانب Berdawni، Thinkers، Najjar Food، HAK، Poppins، وPerfecto كداعمِين لهذا اليوم التربوي المميز.

واختُتم المؤتمر بجولة للطلاب على أجنحة الجامعات المشاركة وسط أجواء من التفاعل والحماسة، ليُشكّل هذا الحدث محطةً سنوية تجمع بين التوجيه الأكاديمي والانفتاح على الفرص التعليمية داخل لبنان وخارجه.

وفي الختام، توجّه نادي روتاراكت زحلة كابيتول وجمعية “لبنانيون” بالشكر إلى جميع الشركاء والرعاة والجامعات المشاركة على دعمهم وثقتهم، وإلى المدارس التي لبّت الدعوة وشاركت بطلابها في هذا اليوم التعليمي المميز، مؤكدين التزامهم المشترك بتعزيز قيم المعرفة وخدمة المجتمع، وفتح آفاق جديدة أمام الشباب نحو مستقبلٍ أكثر إشراقًا.

Loubnaniyoun NGO, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Zahlé Capital, organized a large-scale university conference and exhibition at the “Grand Kadri Hotel” in Zahle, bringing together school students from Zahle and the Bekaa with representatives of leading Lebanese and international universities.

Dozens of Lebanese and international universities took part in the exhibition, including:
From Lebanon: The American University of Beirut (AUB), Saint Joseph University (USJ), Beirut Arab University (BAU), the Islamic University of Lebanon, Jinan University, the Lebanese American University (LAU), Middle East University, Notre Dame University–Louaize (NDU), University of Balamand, Antonine University, Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), Stepahead, Maritime Institutes, MUBS University, AUST, LCU, Rafik Hariri University, Phoenicia University, ESA, ISAE-CNAM, SGUB.
From international institutions: Cardiff Metropolitan University, Institut Français, Airways Aviation School, Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Epita Paris, Audencia University, Khalil Services (representing 15 Canadian universities), Amideast (representing 10 U.S. universities), and the American University of Cyprus.

The conference drew a large turnout of students from Zahle and the Bekaa, who engaged with university representatives to explore academic majors, scholarships, and study opportunities in Lebanon and abroad, all within an atmosphere of enthusiasm and academic openness.

The opening featured a speech by the President of Loubnaniyoun NGO, Mrs. Nadine Daher, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between civil society and educational institutions to support the academic journey of youth. She stressed that “Loubnaniyoun believes that education is the foundation for building a prosperous nation, and that true investment lies in empowering people capable of change and initiative.”

Ms. Rebecca El Hindi, President of the Rotaract Club of Zahlé Capital, also delivered a speech in which she highlighted the vital role Loubnaniyoun played in the success of the event, noting the importance of such initiatives in helping students define their future paths.
From his side, Mr. Tony Abounaoom, Head of the Family Committee in Rotary District 2452, affirmed Rotary’s role in supporting education and building bridges between schools and universities.

Additionally, Zahle–Muallaka–Taanayel Municipal Council member Ms. Dima Abou Dia delivered remarks expressing the municipality’s support for all educational activities aimed at empowering the younger generations.
Ms. Celine Oussama, representing Erasmus+, spoke about exchange programs and European scholarships available to Lebanese students.
Mr. Hassan Abou Khodor, representing HAK Agency, underscored the importance of connecting students with the labor market, while Mr. Brian Youssef, representing Edubolt, highlighted the role of technology in advancing education.

The conference received the support of several partners and sponsors, most notably Loubnaniyoun Association, Zahle–Muallaka–Taanayel Municipality, Edubolt, Erasmus+, Institut Français, and Rotaract Tripoli as main partners, in addition to Berdawni, Thinkers, Najjar Food, HAK, Poppins, and Perfecto as supporters of this special educational day.

The event concluded with a tour of the participating universities’ booths, marked by lively engagement and enthusiasm. This annual gathering serves as a platform that brings together academic orientation and exposure to educational opportunities both in Lebanon and abroad.

At the end of the event, the Rotaract Club of Zahlé Capital and Loubnaniyoun NGO extended their gratitude to all partners, sponsors, and participating universities for their support and trust, as well as to the schools that accepted the invitation and attended with their students. They reaffirmed their joint commitment to promoting the values of knowledge and community service, and to opening new horizons for youth toward a brighter future.
