إستكمالاً لحملة التواقيع على الوثيقة الوطنية المشتركة بين الأحزاب اللبنانية لدعم وصول المرأة الى مراكز القرار على الصعيدين الحزبي والوطني ، زار وفد من جمعية "لبنانيون" برئاسة نادين ضاهر مكتب النائب إيلي الماروني عن حزب الكتائب اللبنانية بحضور ممثلة عن الحزب الدكتورة ميرا واكيم للتوقيع على الوثيقة التي أعدتها الجمعية بمشاركة مجموعة من الأحزاب اللبنانية.
عرض المجتمعون واقع المرأة اللبنانية في الحياة الحزبية وضرورة وضع أسس جدية لدعم وصولها الى الحياة السياسية. كذلك أشار ماروني الى نسبة مشاركة المرأة داخل حزب الكتائب وانخراطها في العمل السياسي.
يشار الى أنه سيتم إطلاق الوثيقة المشتركة بعد الإنتهاء من التواقيع ضمن مؤتمر جامع لإطلاق التوصيات المتفق عليها.
In continuation of the campaign to collect signatures on the joint national document among Lebanese political parties to support women's access to decision-making positions on both party and national levels, a delegation from "Loubnaniyoun" organization, led by the president of Loubnaniyoun Mrs. Nadine Daher, visited the office of Deputy Elie Marouni of the Lebanese Forces Party. The meeting included the signing of the document, with the presence of a representative from the party, Dr. Mira Waqim, to sign the document prepared by the organization.
The meeting presented the reality of Lebanese women in party life and the need to lay serious foundations to support their access to political life. Maroni also referred to the participation of women within the Lebanese Ktaeb Party and their involvement in politics.
It’s worth noting that the joint document was be officially launched after completing the signatures, as part of a comprehensive conference to release the agreed-upon recommendations.
