Emergency Relief
The Loubnaniyoun team launched the “Forgotten in Crisis Support Initiative” in partnership with Latter-day Saint Charities. Through this initiative, we successfully distributed food boxes and hygiene kits to 292 displaced families from southern Lebanon. On October 10th, a tent was set up in Jounieh to serve 55 displaced families living in Keserwan, offering an accessible collection point. Similarly, on October 14th, a tent in Ain al Remmeneh was established for 35 displaced families to Baabda.
From October 3rd to 28th, Loubnaniyoun distributed supplies to 189 families in Maten and Beirut through our Dekwane office, which is easily accessible to the beneficiaries.
On October 28th, we delivered food boxes and hygiene kits directly to the homes of 13 of the poorest families from the 292 we are supporting. These families were unable to collect their supplies from our office due to financial difficulties and lack of transportation. This ensured that no one was left without support.
